BQ21061: Ship Mode

Is there a way to exit the ship mode when the 14 second timer is enabled but the CPU cant perform a i2c access. This is a development issue where we are trying to flash a unit that is in ship mode. For example can we change io state to disable the 14s timer? Do we need to remove the battery?

    Hello,

    When the device is in shipmode, it not possible to program the device is the digital is not active. You'll have to exit shipmode either by plugging in VIN or puling /MR low. When the device exits shipmode, the registers reset so the 14s timer will have to be re-enabled.
