TPS62807: Impact of Poor Accuracy VSEL Resistor

Part Number: TPS62807

Hi,

I am looking into the Vout impact of the poor VSEL/MODE pin resistor.

The datasheet recommends user design with 1% resistor, so for VSEL level 3, any value between 15.4k(+/- 1%) could be properly read by the R2D converter. What would happen to Vout if the resistor value falls into the gap between VSEL levels?

Best Regards,

Peiheng

  • Hello,

if you select the resistor value as shown in the d/s in terms of value, tolerances and temperature coefficient you will not have issue to select the desired output.

Selecting a not proper resistor will change your output selection.
