Hii this is Jitendra Parit

Respected sir

I am working with bq79616-q1 ic but I am vary worry about FET protection

suppose I want to design 96v (26s) and 600amp BMS

But how can I protect BMS with this amount of current

please suggest regarding this much amount or current protection

and also suggest MOSFET for that which can handle 600 amount of current

Hi Parit,

Bq79616 is cell monitoring device and MCU does all the thinking.

This device has no current protection at all.

I think you are referring to system level mosfet.

It's hard to recommend without knowing your system and it's outside of device scope.

But, I suggest you to look into the IGBT.
