BQ34Z110: If BQ34Z110 is not recommended for new design and whch IC will be suitable for Lead-Acid battery monitoirng?

I have to monitor the parameters of a 12V lead acid battery.For that i found the IC BQ34Z110. But in its datasheet, it is written that not recommended for for new design. So, please suggest the new ti ICs which will be suitable for monitoring the parameters of lead acid battery.

The BQ34Z100-G1 should be used in place of the BQ34Z100. We need to add this note to the BQ34Z100 product page. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Matt,

I have asked question for PART N0- BQ34Z110. But you have replied for part no- BQ34Z100. Is your answer is same for both the ICs?

Sorry, I did misread your post. However, the answer is the same for both ICs. The BQ34Z100-G1 also is recommended for lead acid instead of the BQ34Z110.
