Low-cost 1.2V/100mA LDO with soft-start

I’m looking for low-noise, low-cost LDO with below spec. Any suggestions? I'm not sure it is the right forum to ask regarding product related queries

  1. VIN: 3.3V
  2. Vout: 1.2V
  3. IOUT: 100mA
  4. With Soft start around 8msec

    Hi Sadashiva,

    8ms is a very long soft-start time for an LDO. What is driving this request? One part that might work is the TPS7A05. This has fold-back current limiting which helps to emulate a soft-start function:

    Out TPS7A90 has an NR/SS pin that gives you better control over soft-start and here you can see ~6ms with a 1uF capacitor on the NR/SS pin.

    Soft start is optional. Alternatively, I need delay of around 8ms from 3.3V to 1.2V. This we can achieve by controlling EN pin. What is the best way to get 8ms delay? Software EN control is not an option.

    Having RC circuit at EN pin is the best option?

    HI Sadashiva,

    If you can not use software control, and RC is a good option but your accuracy is a function of the enable logic threshold and the accuracy of the components. 

    for more precise timing, we have the TLV840. The delay range can be programmed as follows:
