UCC28064A: Open Loop Test, GDA, GDB, PWM

The circuit above is a circuit that I arbitrarily designed using UCC28064A.

PFC circuit specifications
Input voltage : AC220V
Output voltage : 400V
Output power : 3.3kW

We will test with an open loop before mounting on a PFC circuit.
We are only experimenting with the controller circuit for open loop operation.
PWM waveforms are not coming from the GDA and GDB pins.

1. Which part of UCC28064A pin should you apply voltage to the PWM circuit?
2. Is PFC designed with UCC28064A not open loop operation test?

Please Help me.

First off I would like to comment that we do not recommend using UCC28064A for a 3.3kW design. The transition mode (TM) operation of this device limits the practical maximum power level around 700W. At this power range using our continuous conduction mode (CCM) interleaved PFC UCC28070A is recommended.

We do not recommend starting from an arbitrary design. We recommend that you use our Webench or excel design calculator tool

UCC28064A and UCC28070A are not designed to operate open loop. It requires an AC voltage source on the input to enable proper PWM output.
