The data sheet describes setting the current limit using a 5K - 25K resistor. Is it feasible to connect this through a resistor to an D/A converter to allow this to be variable by software control?
Thanks,
Don

Hello,
The capacitance on the line needs to be kept to a minimum because it will effect the performance. However in theory this would work.
Hi,
The data sheet calls for a resistor to VBB. Since VBB is a high voltage I am guessing that the external resistor forms half of a voltage divider or perhaps it is just a current source.
Is any further information available on what is expected on this pin in terms of current / voltage?
Thanks,
Don
Don,
It is not a straight resistor divider. However, I will need to check to see how much of the circuit I can comment on.
Here is an app note that we put out about the current limiting feature of our devices.
