LMG3410R070: Design solution request

Dear expert,

My customer is trying to design a high speed high-voltage pulse signal generator with our LMG341xR070. They need FET shut down fast to avoid damage when load shorted.

Thier circuit is half-bridge as below, can LMG3410R070 support this design (current <2.5A )? Can our EVM be easily changed to this design and how? Thanks for your support.

Hello Minqi,

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, the voltage across the top FET will be 600V in this case, which will exceed the recommended maximum of 480V of our FET. However, if the voltage is within our limit, say 200V and -200V, then the existing LMG3410R070 daughter card will work unmodified because there are isolations for both high side and low side.
