TPS2H000-Q1: Application Design Queries

Part Number: TPS2H000-Q1

Hi,

It is mentioned in datasheet that Nominal dc load current is 0.75A. Is it per channel? And is it applicable for TPS4H000 also? What if I need more current?

Also, there are two pins at output for each channel. Do I need to short them together to use one channel?

Also, I am using Version A and for fault detection STx pins are given. Can I just simply pull up STx pin to 5V using a pull up resistor and can read output using uC?

  • Hello,

The maximum current you can have will be limited by the power dissipation because the junction temperature could hit thermal shutdown.

The 2 pins are so that you can have the full current that the channel can provide although it is not necessary to use both if you have low current.

Yes that is how you can do fault detection.
