Hello,

I'm using the 63700 as inverter from 5V to -5V according to the data sheet. the Vref output is oscilates and not as mantioned in the D.S (should 1.213VDC) but 0.86V and there for the output is not -5V.

pls advice.

Please check the resistor from Vref to FB. It needs to large enough so that no more than 10uA is pulled from the Vref pin.

Also, please use the EVM board as a guide for the layout of your board. The TPS63700 FB and OUT pins are very sensitive to noise so part placement and trace routing are critical to achieve maximum output current. Refer to http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/slva219/slva219.pdf which explains the EVM layout.
