BQ25101: Schematic Review: TS Pin Connection

Part Number: BQ25101
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2642R

Hi,

I would like to disable temp. sense feature and therefore I have connected a 10k resistor between TS and Vss pins. At the same time, I would like the MCU to disable charging when neccesary by pulling the TS pin LOW.

"TEM_SENSE (DIO29), sheet 5" on the schematic is connected to an MCU GPIO. The MCU used is CC2642R.

Please verify my schematic for the TS pin connection.

Thanks

  • Hello

The TS pin connections are OK. 10k will provided safe condition, voltage on pin will be 500mV.  Low on the TS pin will inhibit charging.

Note the Low need to be less than 92mV to inhibit device, should not be a problem for most GPIO.
