Dear TI

Hello

I am currently working for a company developing magnetic devices for electric vehicles and

plan to develop automotive power supplies(PFC,Buck,LLC) because I research and develop magnetic devices.

I am wondering if there is an engineer who can advise on ti technology and products offline.

if you have an offline agent or representative who can provide product and technical advice, please contact me.

Best Regards.

  • Hello,

Can you share more specs and requirement of power converter? Then I can recommend you the TI products and solution.

    Regards,

    Teng

  • Dear TI

What I asked is a charger for a small mobile vehicle.

    Image Attachments are not finalized.

But you can check the contents.

I plan to develop three things.

First of all, I need help developing pfc and auxiliary power.

    1.interleaved pfc ucc28070a(Non Fan system)
    2.ac/dc aux pwr (flyback series) / 10 ~ 15W
    3.DSP 28335 (current controller)-> 2800049, 28379x (type of controller to be developed)

    Best regards

  • Hi CHOI,

    UCC28070 can be used here.

But LLC is not recommended for the application 380V input, 150V~300V output,1kW, I recommend to use full bridge (device LM5036, LM5045) or phase shift full bridge UCC28950/1.

For aux flyback, you can use TI flyback controller UCC28740/2.

Bty can you create a new post for DSP and Buck controller since they don't belong to HVP-HVC, thank you.

    Regards,

    Teng

  • Dear Teng Feng

    Thank you for the reply.

I have a question about your answer about LLC.

I would like to know why we do not recommend 150 ~ 300V output at 380V input. We are reviewing LLC to obtain high efficiency at buyer's request. Full bridge converters have a wide range of output voltages versus input voltages. So I decided that the main transformer design conditions were difficult.
