Our design incorporates a bq35100 so we can get an indication when the lithium thionyl batteries come to the end of their service.
We based our design from the schematic of the evaluation board, but not getting the same kind of results. Upon powerup, we have a current draw of 36mA even with the Gauge Enable pin pulled low through the 1Mohm resistor.
