Hello team.

I got two questions from the customer. Could you please answer the questions below?

#1: In the DS, there's no input cap recommendation. But if we do Webench there's the input cap.

Is it better to add an input cap for EMI and IC stability?

For the reference, the customer is going to use this device at Vin3.3V/Vout5.0V/Iout60mApeak.

#2: what is the proper handing for NC pins? EVM/DS design ref, one NC connects to GND the other one connects to Vout.

I found this post also, but I just want to make sure the proper handing.

Hi Kazuki:

It's recommended to add a 2.2uF input capacitor, in case of the battery is far away and reduce the parasitic influence.

For the NC pin, it's float inside. So it's OK to connect them to different net.
