Hi everyone.
I am developing a 12V Lead-Acid battery solar charger. The charger is autonomous but it is monitored/controlled by the MSP4302553. I am measuring battery voltage and input/output current with the MSP4302553 however implementing accurately the SOC and SOH calculation is quite complicated. As possible alternative and also to compare my own SOC calculation I am looking for a battery fuel for Lead acid batteries.
One option I found is adding the BQ34Z1110 and communicate the SOC/SOH to the MSP4302553 by I2C, however I can see that it is not recommend by new designs, also the EVM is difficult to find.
Any possible alternative?
