Hi,

We are going to design a GPS tracker using 3.7V li-ion battery as well as 5V DC charger input.

1)TPS61022 as Buck boost for VBAT(4V) for GSM part. and that 4V convertered into 3.3V through a LDO for GNSS part.

2) Since BQ24075 VREG output =5.5V the TPS61022 cannot support 5.5V input.

3) We need SYSOFF pin also.

Kindly provide a solution to this.

Hi Saravanan,

The BQ24073 or BQ24074 regulate the OUT votlage to 4.4V which fits in the recommended operating conditions of the TPS61022 and also has a SYSOFF pin.

Hi Anthony,

Is TD(BQ24073),ITERM(BQ24074) and SYSOFF are same ?.I have not seen SYSOFF pin both pinout can you clarify pls.

Hi Saravanan,

Sorry my mistake. Yes, the pins are different. The BQ24076 or BQ24078 should fit your needs. It will still output a voltage at OUT that fits your needs for the TPS61022 device.
