LMR62421: I am calculating for a pull-down resistor 3M ohms on the EN pin (4). Is this correct?

Part Number: LMR62421

The Enable pin current, sink/source, is shown to be 'typically' 100 nA, (there is no min/max value?)
Also, the Enable shutdown voltage threshold is 0.4v max.

The 0.3 below is to be less than the shutdown voltage of 0.4v

Using 0.3v / 100 x 10^-9   I am getting 3,000,000 Ohm!  Is this correct?

Or does someone know the maximum sink/source current of the EN pin

thanks

  • Hi Jak,

The leakage current 100nA typical value means the driving source at EN pin should has 100nA current capability. For example, if you are using a MCU to control LMR62421 ON/OFF, the GPIO driving capability should be higher than 100nA. If you hope to shutdown the device, the GPIO voltage should be less than 0.4V.

You can connect EN pin to Vin pin with a 51k ohm resistor like below picture.
