Hi team,

My customer wants to use the TPS7A8300 as the filter for the 10k~20Mhz voltage. Do we have the PSRR data for 1Mhz~20Mhz? Thanks.

Hi Frank,

Unfortunately, we do not. The reason is that beyond 1MHz, what you are seeing is the effect of the output capacitor. For additional filtering above 2Mhz, you may want to look at using Ferrites to help filter any high-frequency ripple.

Hi John,

Do you mean the device cannot handle 20Mhz noise? So we can only use the RC filter or π filter to achieve the performance, correct? Thanks.

Hi Frank,

Yes for frequencies beyond 1MHz, all LDO's are dependent on external filtering to filter input ripple. an RC or LC before or after the LDO can help in this range.
