BQ24780S: non charging schematic revised

Hello expert,

Customer would like to disable charging function on bq24780S and may I know how can we disconnect/disable/floating...etc. those pins we would not use? Thanks a lot!

There are several ways to disable charging function. The easy way is to set register (REG0x12[0]=1) to inhibit charge.

You can also pull ILIM pin to ground, or pull ACOK pin to low. More details, see datasheet 7.3.3.

Thanks, Tiger! But we would like to know how can we modify the schematic. We would like to know how can we remove Buck stage, HIDRV/LODRV circuit, BATDRV...etc. Thanks!
