Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28050
I am controlling a boost converter from 120VAC to 220VDC. I ordered a UCC28056 not realizing how small the chip would be, and I need to prototype the controller before ordering a PCB. The chip is too small to be soldered, at least with my skill set. Is there a Through Hole variant of this chip or a surface mount version that is comparable to the UCC28056? If not, is there a way I'd be able to wire to the smaller chip I have now?
