BQ24050: Unused D+/D- pins

Hi,

I am designing a battery charger based on BQ24050 chip. My microcontroller host don´t use USB and the system will ac adapto. My question is if the D+/D- can be floating? or how I should connect it?

Hi Carlos,

We recommend you short the D+/D- pins of the BQ24050 if only the AC adapter is used. This will set charge current to the level programmed by ISET. Take a look at section 7.3.3 of the datasheet for more info on this.
