yes, you can, only you need take care the thermal due to 5A current. and the EMI performance is worse then 4 layer board.

Sorry that the latest Webench on TI.com has no option to change PCB layers.
You may go ahead with 2 layer PCB and refer to EVM layout design, if thermal performance can meet your application requirement, then you may have to use 4 layer PCB.
