UCC28051: Can i use UCC28051 for PFC fly-back converter?

Hello, I am planing to use UCC28051 for fly-back converter with optocoupler  feedback compensation. PFC and THD  are the major parameters that i have to achieve.

Please suggest shall i go ahead or any other part no. you can suggest me.

Output Power : 40W

Output Voltage : 24V

    Yes you can.  UCC28050 (which is the same as UCC28051 except UVLO threshold and gM amplifier values are slightly different, and they share the same datasheet) can be configured as such.  PMP11155 is an example of UCC28050 configured as a PFC flyback with optocupler feedback.
