Hello expert,

My customer is wondering why we need to implement Q1/Q2(red circle)? We think it should be for reblocking circuit, but there is RBFET inside bq24195 why we need to implement external FET for same purpose? Thanks!

Hi Ann,

This circuit is automatically turns on OTG after adapter removal. It also prevents the OTG output from appearing on at the adapter port and allows for the phone, tablet, etc to be connected to PMID instead of VBUS. The BQ25895 integrates this feature.
