I have spent much time to understand bq27542-G1 functionality. now i stuck to write flash based gauge device driver.

so please answer of below important questions:

1. Is there any example source code available for bq27542-G1 to update flash. ?

2. For flash based device which file require to use from .srec, bq.fs and df.fs file.?

3. I have seen gauge communication application note (slua801). i want to know which changes i need to do for flash gauge programming of bq27542-G1.

See my comments below.

a) The example code is already available in the app note "Gauge Communication".

b) You can use bq.fs or dt.fs file. The difference between these two files is the bq.fs file contains the instructions flash.

c) If you have a Linux based system that supports i2c driver, the code available in the app note can be most likely directly used.

For other platforms or systems, the gauge.c and gauge.h can be still used since they are written in ANSI-C and system independent.

Thanks For reply.

But when i use that driver due to configuration update put my ic in unrecoverable state.

i want solution for this problem.

Try to use the bqStudio to program the device. If the bqStudio fails, it most likely that the device cannot be recovered. I would suggest you try a new part.
