BQ28Z610: FET drive from the chip

Hello,

How does the protection chip drive the isolation N-MOSFETS?. is there an internal charge pump since the source is connected to the cell+? does the CHG and DSG pin have double the output as the cell?

where can I find more information on the internal MOSFET driver?

Hi Gaurav,

Yes. There is an internal charge pump. See Page 11 of the bq28z610 datasheet for some details.

Hi Andy,

is there a multi-cell fuel-gauge/protection combination chip that drives an PMOSFET and does not have an internal charge pump?
