Hi team,
For the LM5176, VISNS pin need to connected a 2kohm when Vin higher than 40V as the datasheet mentioned.
We have 48Vin application and it's production but with 0ohm.
Is there any side effect for with 0ohm?
Thanks!

Hi Zoe,
Thanks for reaching out with your question and for using the LM5176.
For the LM5176 to operate properly the Rvisns resistor value needs to be 2kOhm.
If you have more questions please contact me directly
Thanks,

Hi, Garrett
We tested board with 48Vin. sometimes the LM5176 is burned. We adjusted the Csiope from 100pF to 330pF to solve. It seems no burned issue again. But check the spec Rvinsns need 2K ohm when over 40V. We want to check if Rvinsns still 0 ohm, our outputted products have side effect or not? Thank you.
Jason,
Sorry to hear you are still having issues. If the input voltage is higher than 40V the 2kOhm resistor in series with VISNS pin is required.
What pin of the LM5176 appears to be getting damaged?
Thanks,
Garrett
