CSD18543Q3A: PSpice Model Failure

Part Number: CSD18543Q3A

CSD18543Q3A PSpice model crashes PSpice design.  Basically it doesn’t like the init settings.  It fails in 9.313E-18 time so it is just trying to do init values.  It appears to have a number of voltages in the kV range.  If they swap CSD18543Q3A out and use the CSD16301Q2A it runs fine.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Mark

  • Hi Mark,

Thanks for the inquiry. I've not seen this type of issue before. We recently updated all of our discrete FET models from encrypted to unencrypted. Perhaps there is a bug in the unencrypted model in the product folder. I will check into this and get back to you shortly.
