BQ79616-Q1: bq79616 thermal pad drawing wrong

Hi,

the thermal pad drawing pptd318.pdf of the bq79616 is wrong: The tab dimensions are obviously wrong and the outside dimensions do not match the samples I have. Can anybody point me to a correct drawing?

This here does not match the IC samples I got. The thermal pad on the samples is about 6x6mm and does not have any small tabs.

So is the drawing wrong or was a different package used for the early samples?

I don't know source of this documentation so I can't comment on it but that's not for 616.

That it's the wrong pad we figured in post 1 in this thread.

The package number PAP is from the bq79616 data sheet, PAP thermal pad drawing source is ti web site (link was used but seems to be hidden by your forum software). Of course ti is too lazy to provide a package drawing in the data sheet (thermal pad dimensions missing). Or recommended solder pad layout.
