Hi, I try to connect my two BQ76PL455A-Q1 boards with the daisy chain without fault link, only use COMMH+ and COMMH- on the first board side and COMML+ with COMML- for another board side. I connect these two boards as given on the picture in bq76PL455A-Q1.pdf and use bq76PL455A-Q1_GUI application for testing my communication via daisy chain but the app just sees only one board.
Auto addressing finished successfully.
Total Board(s) in network = 1
Top of stack adress = 0.
The behavior of my boards is such that the first board weak up another second board but the second board doesn't respond on the auto addressing learning mode and maybe, for that reason, the application can't see the other board on the stack. Also, I tried FAULT differential communication but even then the app saw only one board.
Both boards work separately, the application normally communicates with the board, reads voltages, temperatures and faults. But when I connect on the daisy chain, taking care of micro switches, I do not have their mutual communication.
I would like to mention that I paid attention to all the technical documents concerning the PCB board design on the TI website, but obviously, I have a problem that I cannot detect.
Did you have a similar problem like me? What to pay attention to?
Do you have an idea where I'm wrong?
I have attached to you the PCB design of my BQ76PL455A-Q1 board.
Thanks.
