TPS61165: Use TPS61165DRV as a LED driver, for 300mA 15V constant current load

Can you please help me to check is this TPS61165DRV suitable with our usage, the detailed digit as below listed.

input voltage range = 3.7V-4.2V, Li battery supplied voltage

output voltage range = 15V.

Hi Patrick,

What's the output current? I'd like to check the power based on the Vin, Vout and Iout.

Hi Patrick,

I'm afraid that TPS61165 may can't support with this spec for Vin=3.7V, Vout=15V, and Iout=300mA. But you can try with TPS61500.

One more question, If we can raise Vin from 3.7V to 5V, will TPS61169 http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps61169.pdf suffice for output 300mA 15V?

That should be much better if you can improve the supply voltage.
