Hi team,
a customer of mine has to do a safety functional analysis on our BMS in order to certify the battery. They use the BQ78PL116.
There is no problem for the hardware but they are using TI embedded software.
They know that TI designs chips and software under ISO 26262, but they were not able to find in the documentations any proof of conformity of embedded software according to standards as IEC60730 or UL991.
Do you have any document that could certify that the software is enough safe according to such standards?
Could you please advice?
