TX RX Systems uses a TPS3808G33 on a few of our control boards. We have noted that some boards have been failing, and have traced the failures back to this component. We suspect our board supplier may have a bad lot of this components.
In all instances so far, we have noted that when the component is marked with a dash below the A, above the O, and below-right of the O, the board fails.
On the other hand, components with a dash above A, below A, and below V lead to passing boards.
Can someone explain to us what these codes mean? It may help us in identifying a root cause.
