TPS51220A： adjust frequency question

Hi, TI member :

regarding of TPS51220A frequency question, may I adjust the frequency from 333Khz(MAX) to 450Khz? (RF = 221kohm)

based-on datasheet page24, figure41 (Switching Frequency vs RF). whether can be improve the frequency?

if can be do it, do I need to modify other parts value, too? (or only revise RF resistance)

Hi,

You can adjust the frequency by changing the RF resistance. The below application note states how the frequency affects performance for reference.

You should also check your selected L and Co whether they meet the requirement of EXTERNAL PARTS SELECTION on page 29 of datasheet.
