LM5116: HO gate resistor value

Hi, 

According to the datasheet, it is recommended that the maximum value of the HO gate resistor should be 10 ohms as it can affect the adaptive gate drive if this value is too high. Would you be able to explain what would happen if a 22 ohm resistor was used? What issues would you expect?

    Hi 

    LO and HO only can detect the voltage of the PIN to avoid the short through happen. but with 20ohm resistor, there is delay between LO, HO and Gate votlage, so the gate drive may not be able to avoid the short through happened.

    with 20ohm, the adaptive gate drive may not be work, but it also depend the mosfet you used.
