Hi there, I have managed to connect this DJI Battery to an SMBUS USB interface and I can talk to the battery and get cell voltages etc but I cannot talk to the BQ30Z55 chip to reset the failure flag. Can you help with software to talk to this chip? I have a PC with Windows 10 ( and also older PCs) thankyou !

As far as I know, BQ30Z55 is a custom IC and only available to a few customers only. We cannot share the software with you. I would suggest you use a catalog part instead.

Thankyou for reply, I have seen other people access this chip but possibly with expensive software (more than the battery is worth) but in the interest of conserving the resourses of this planet I like to repair as many things as possible , and i wish to get this battery working. It would not be feasible to change the chip. I just need to edit the data stored in it.

As I mentioned before, we cannot provide the software. Try to contact the battery manufacturers.
