TPS63710: Design the DC-DC converter for -1Vout , -2A Iout

I have requirement of DC-DC inverting buck converter which input is 5V(Vin) and Output voltage -1V (Vout) and output sink current of -2A ( Isink ).I got a similar product from Ti Website , the device is TPS63710. Which Iout is -1A. My plan is to connect two TPS63710 device in parallel to achieve the the -2A current.Could someone can confirm on the same whether I can able to meet the requirement .

You cannot operate two devices in parallel. There is no mechanism for current sharing. You could use TPS54424 in inverting buck boost mode.

Jinesh,

Generally converters need to be specifically designed to share current. These are usually marketed as "stackable" or something similar. Your best option is to use a device that is rated for your current. Remember, for inverting buck-boost the current has to be derated by a factor of (1-D).
