Hello guys,
I've recently tried to design a BMS for LTO(Lithium Titanate Oxide). Actually, I asked once in E2E forum before and got some comments I need to show tested data.
A test sequence is done for GPC(Gauging Parameter Calculator), according to SLVA725A doc. But the result of the online GPC report says the deviation is higher than 47% with bq27411.
I want to find out the right solution for 5S LTO battery pack system including some protection functions, balancing features, and gauging.
Here's cell info:
- voltage range: 1.5V-2.8V
- nominal voltage: 2.3V
- Max. discharge current: 50A
- Max. charge current: 30A
And here's the result of charge-dischage test.
Can you share the files you submitted to GPCCHEM and the GPC report you have received?
Andy
Hello,
The bq27411 does not support customized chemID profiles. It is better to look at a flash based gauge similar to the bq27z561.
