TPS65400: Sequence in ENSW startup order

Part Number: TPS65400

Hi Team,

If the capacitor is changed to the ENSW1/2/3/4pin line and connected to GND, the rising of ENSW after power supply will be different.

Is it possible to create an output rising power supply sequence like this? Can you recommend it?

I found the following in the data sheet.

“Enable input pin for SW1. Active high. 2-μA internal pullup current is inside.”

Best Regards,

Kenji

  • Hi, Kenji

    Yes, you are right.

Different caps at ENSWx pin causes the different time of ENSWx rising up to enable threshold, so it can achieve output sequence.

For typical, the ENSWx high threshold is 1.2V, you can calculate the time Ten @ IC is enabled.

    (Ien/Cen) * Ten = 1.2V
