Hi,
If the power supply is powered up while VIN and BOOT are short-circuited, may burning occur?
Best regards,
Kato

Hi Sadanori
If VIN and BOOT is shorted, the Cboot cap maybe charged up to Vin voltage and then damage BOOT pin if Vin is too high. on the other hand, there is no enough BOOT to SW voltage to drive high-side switch gate for fully turn-on, this may damage high-side FET because of operating out of SOA.
The burning may occur if too high EOS energy cause hard circuit short and power supply has no proper over current limitation.
