TPS23523: About IEC 62368

IEC62368 is applicable only for integrated current limiters (i.e., eFuses).

What is the end equipment ? Why IEC62368 support is needed ?

I want to introduce it to customers.

Data sheet does not describe a circuit example assuming a negative rail.
And Is IEC62368 guaranteed for the negative voltage rail version TPS2663 circuit?

This is how, I am thinking.. There won't be any impact on the current limit operation and hence the IEC62368 still applicable.

Please advise on how to set the GND of each pin and the concept of the maximum rating.

Hi Yusuke-san,

Just to make it clear, the above solution with TPS2663 controls the RTN line. It does not control the -52V rail like low side controller TPS2352x. Please check whether this is acceptable for your customer.

As shown above, the GND of the device is connected to -52V input. The external components at all the pins are referenced to -52V.
