TLC5927-Q1: I want to light 180 LEDs individually with a nominal LED current of 300mA

Hi,

I have been asked to do a project that consists of lighting 180 LEDs individually, with a nominal LED current of 300mA.

I had thought to use the TLC5927-Q1 driver with some transistors at the output to give more power to the LEDs.

For the VLED I was thinking of using 5v linear regulators

Could you guide me if it is the right thing to light so many LEDs, for so much current per LED and the linear regulator?

Hi Miguel，

I want to confirm 2 points：
1）300mA is for each LED

2) you want to use TLC5927-q1 as a controller to control the base of the transistors

Could you offer some detail information of your project.
