K2K EVM SOC_POWER_GOOD error

Hi,

I was working with k2k EVM, and due to a test, I switched the mood from ARM SPI mode to No Boot mode by using "bootmode #1" command in BMC.

When I switched back the mode to ARM SPI mode and reboot it, i faced-off with the following error message in BMC

When I investigated the error in the forum, I understood that it might be caused by outdated UDP version.

I followed the steps for updating the UDP version, and download bmc_tool.py and UCD text and xml files.

When I run the bmc_tool.py and open the UCD text files with the program, I faced-off the following 2 errors

How can i get rid of these errors?

What is the solution of first error? (Is it UDP version ?)

Best regards!

Ilhan

  • Hi, Ilhan,

We do not have any collateral or resource beyond what you see in the product folder. You may search the E2E forum for archived posts of previous discussions which may help address your questions. For more info on K2K support, please see the FAQ in

As a courtesy, here are some comments:

    1) be sure exact version of python 2.7.5 and pySerial 2.6 are installed.

    2) all console windows (BMC and SoC) need to be closed when programming the UCD.

    3) At times, you see i2c send command failed, just re-issue the command.

    4) I have seen cases when I flipped dip switch, the EVM gets power failure error, I need to flip the dip switches again to be sure they set well. Sometimes, it clears the error.
