TPS51200A-Q1: Output short circuit

Part Number: TPS51200A-Q1

Hi TI-team

My customer shorted Vout output capacitor to GND.

At the moment when the capacitor is short-circuited, a large current flows from Vout, the PGOOD pin becomes LO, and the Vout current stabilizes.

1.Please tell me the current value that OCL detects.

2.When the current of Vout is short-circuited, a large current flows and then becomes a low current.

 Please tell me the reason.

 Is this foldback ?

Where can I find it on the data sheet ?

3.The PGOOD pin goes LOW the moment the output capacitor is shorted to GND.

Is it due to OCL ?

I will send the waveforms if necessary, so let me exchange them individually.

Best Regards,

Koji Hayashi
