Question regarding cell balancing with bq20z40

Hi,

I have been reading all the documents that I can find regarding z40. I cannot find information about when cell balancing will not occur (depending on temperature). Iam wondering if the cell balancing is active below 0 degrees Celsius ? What happends at -40 degrees Celsius?

    The attached app note describes cell balancing in the z40 device.

    Cell balancing is allowed only when the battery is charging. It is not directly dependent on the temperature. There is an indirect dependence, though, because there is an allowable temperature range for charging that can be configured.
