Since the GPOI Pin is an Open Drain Pin,how could we enable Power good?since we are not Configuring through I2C,Instead we are Configuring by OTP IC,and please make me know how the GPO works without any GPO Programming?

  • An open-drain GPIO simply means it needs a pull-up resistor to operate. Connect the pull-up resistor from the GPIO pin to 1.8V or 3.3V, whichever is the correct voltage for its POR input signal.

When the PMIC turns on, the FET inside PGOOD will turn on and pull down to GND.

When all of the power rails are within regulation, PGOOD will release and the pull-up resistor will ensure the signal is logic high. When the POR (power-on reset) signal in the processor is high, then it will turn on.
