Please review the design below. We are experience load regulation issues when input voltage quickly transitions from 28 to 17 V on input. Seems to only happen on units after some age in the field. I inherited this design so looking for an expert to provide some help. I suspect the power supply is undersized for the application. Failures and erratic performance is due to overheating of components with aging. Output is 15V nominal and load is 1.8 Amps max.
