How to initialize the component?

Hi,

I have 2 questions about the TPS23880 :

- Is there any procedure to basically initiate this component (with a short program)?

- What is the TPS23880 behaviour if there is no communication with the µC?

Hi Alex,

Please refer to TPS23880 MSP430 reference code and check the TPS23880EVM-008 EVM user's guide about how to initialize the device. If there's no MCU, the device is in off mode and will not be operational. Please check out TPS23881 device which is a newer BT device with better performance and reduced Rsense. It is pin to pin compatible with TPS23881 and same register set. We also have MSP430 reference code and EVM user's guide for it. Thanks.
