My customer is using the bq25155 in a current design. they are looking to modify the product for another application.
In that application, 5v may appear(be applied) on the battery terminal of the of the bq25155. There will be no battery present and no power on Vbus either.
Will the bq be able to pass the voltage on the battery terminal to VSys? And will the device be functional? Essentially, the customer is looking to make this a wired device (power coming form an external source) and want to connect in via the battery terminal.
