WEBENCH® Tools/TPS65233: How to simulate this device

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I want to find out the efficiency graph for Input 5.5V and Output 18V and Load Current of 400mA. And total power dissipation for the same ratings. It would be helpful if I could get a simulation tool for this. If tool is not available, it would be great if can get a report similar to what we get from TI WEBENCH.

There is no TI WEBENCH for this part.

I today i got a chance to access the Lab in Beijing, China, i tested efficiency at some loading, see below.

Thank you for the data.

Is it possible to find the total power dissipation. If not, is there any way I can get/calculate it on my own.

Hi, Anurag

You can use the (Pin - Pout) to calculate the total power loss including IC loss, diode loss, and inductor loss.

For example, at 400mA loading, the total power loss is 5.5*1.553 - 18*0.4 = 1.3415W.
